INTERNS Go Wild!!!

... we are going to get so many spam comments with that title. Should I change it?

.... Nah. Let's roll with it. Even spammers like books. Amiright? Of course I'm right! Let's go talk giveaways.

EVEN VILLAINS HAVE INTERNS has hit the virtual shelves! Woot! Woot!

The print version is coming in February and I thought it would be fun to give you a chance to get the print version autographed and sent to you for free. Because free books are fun and autographed author copies are good.

Who knows, if I become J.K. Rowling Famous one day that autographed copy of my novella could finance your kid's college education. Or your retirement. Or a really fun vacation. We can all dream.

What do you need to do? Simple: send me a picture of you reading EVEN VILLAINS HAVE INTERNS.

Send it to me on Twitter (@LianaBrooks), FaceBook (Liana Brooks), Instagram (Alaskanaut), post on a blog and send me the link, or send a snap to me via email. If all else fails and you don't have any way to snap a pic, I'll accept reviews in lieu of the pictures.

The winner will be picked the Friday before the print release.

Release Week Spotlight #2 - A Flawed Jewel by Dawn Bower

Why, hello pirate man. Don't you look dashing? This handsome gentleman of fortune is the hero of Spotlight Book #2. Don't you think he deserves a second look?

A FLAWED JEWEL
Pieretta Carlyle just experienced the loss of her father leaving her alone in the world except for her grandpere, Comte Renard Dubois. The comte insisted that she travel to France to live with him.  Pieretta doesn't want to leave Charleston and the only home she has ever known,  but young ladies did not live by themselves. Her grandpere is her guardian and she has to do what he says. She reluctantly has the servants pack her trunks for her impending voyage.

Thor has a score to settle and Pieretta is the key to all of his plans. He became a pirate reluctantly when his business partner tried to murder him to gain control over their holdings. He needs to acquire Pieretta by any means necessary and he doesn't mind plundering a ship to get his hands on her.

When Pieretta and Thor meet they are instantly attracted to each other against their better judgment. Pieretta is disgusted by the pirate's actions and believes he murdered everyone aboard the ship…except for her. Thor knows what Pieretta believes but goes ahead with all of his plans anyway, she is only supposed to be a tool to achieve vengeance. What happens will depend on Thor's need for revenge and if Pieretta can forgive him for bringing her into his schemes.

Release Week!!!!

*throws confetti in the air*

Wheeee!!!! All the books are coming out this week! EVEN VILLAINS GO TO THE MOVIES is in print. EVEN VILLAINS HAVE INTERNS is hitting the virtual shelves with a print book to follow in February. It's a crazy, crazy week in the house of Brooks!

And, really, you do not want me to spend all week talking about my books. I could. I love talking about my books. And I have, Breathless Press sent both books on a virtual tour and I wrote any number of blog posts and interview answers back in November (and I totally lost count but I'll link to them later).

But I'm afraid you'd get terribly bored if I spent all week talking about my own books.

So, because I love my readers, I went and talked to some author buddies of mine and asked if any of them would be interested in sharing the spotlight this week. They are going to stop by, one a day, with a spotlighted book and a rafflecopter sign up. On Friday, when EVEN VILLAINS HAVE INTERNS debuts, a winner will be drawn from the rafflecopter and that lucky winner will not only get an e-copy of all three of the Heroes and Villains books (feel free to give the extras to a friend if you already have a copy), but you'll get a copy of each of the spotlight books from this week. Eight books! Wheee!

Who could say no to books?

.... you know what. Don't tell me. If there's someone who can say no to books I just don't want to know about it.

Get your reading lights ready! The first spotlight book will be up in only a few hours!
