I got meme'd!

Isn't this fun! 

Debbie Ridpath Ohi is an illustrator who has drawn some of my kids' favorite books, but that's how I first met her. Back in the dawn of time when I was a young mother with no teenagers and doing my very first NaNoWriMo Debbie was writing weekly NaNo comics to encourage the participants.

I loved reading her comics about the fictional authors struggling to make word count. Her sense of humor and artistic style were fun and unique. And now she's drawn me a doodle!

See, through the miracle of technology that is Twitter Debbie and I occasionally get to chat. I follow her for her daily doodles and writing comics. She follows me because sometimes I make her laugh? I guess? I don't know. Whatever the case may be, I'm lucky to have Debbie around.

Yesterday I woke up to the best surprise ever! Debbie had doodled around one of my review quotes!
