The Dillema

Inquiring minds want to know...

Suppose there was the way to write THE PERFECT BOOK. The one book that would win critical acclaim, sell for six-figures, become a beloved movie, change the world, and rewrite the world of literature.

What price would you pay to write that book?

Would you give up reading?

If someone told you that you could write the perfect book in a single draft, would you hand over your book collection and solemnly swear to never read again?

At the end of the day, is reading more important, or writing?
What price would you pay to write the perfect book?

  1. That sounds too easy. I like to work to get my rewards, and just giving up reading to get a guaranteed perfect book is way too steep of a price anyway. No way. :)

  2. I would easily give up reading to write the perfect book.

Giving up book collections, though...would that include e-books, newspapers, internet forums, instruction manuals, etc? The answer, then, might be slightly trickier.

  3. Reading used to be important, but now writing is more important to me. Interesting question!
