Random Thoughts For a Friday Afternoon

Lemon sorbet is a delightful way to end a hectic day of running errands.

I love 90% off summer-wear sales, because the sales are in August, and we'll be in shorts until November.

I am now on a schedule where I write a chapter a day, and edit 32 pages a day. And it isn't as scary as I thought.

I love sneaky characters, but I love amazing secondary characters even more.

My daughter came home with a note that Dahlonega, GA has gold and gem mining. She looked at me very seriously and said, "Can we go, Mom?"
... Why?
"I want to have a collection, Mom."
... A collection of what?
"Diamonds."
...Me too, baby, me too. On a side note, maybe she isn't old enough to read Heist Society by Ally Carter yet. o.0 Just a thought.

So.... what's your random?

  1. Even better, the school teacher sent home a note about the gem mining on a post-it attached to the school supply list.

    Fall fundraiser, anyone?

  2. RANDOM: The Boy went to Circus Camp this week. Today was the presentation. We went 1/2 an hour before the end of camp and no one was there, except the boy. All alone. Now I'm wondering...*?was?* there a circus camp?

  3. That's very random, and kind of creepy.

    How did it turn out?

  4. Apparently, the circus didn't last long, and we missed the whole thing.

  5. Many randoms this weekend o.0 But the most interesting are the stitches in the big dog's lower eyelid, the (food) poisoning of my baby sister, and the prize-winning-ness of the baby puppy!

    Wow. WHAT a weekend.
