Is there life out there?

NASA: Is Approaching Space Object Artificial?

I love headlines like this! Slightly misleading, slightly exotic, and a great opening for your next casual conversation.

Is there life out there?

If we ever get past our moon, what do you think we'll find?

  1. Honestly? I think that if we ever get humans past the moon we'll find that life could have been sustained at one time on one or more planets. And that that life would have been very human. That's just my personal belief. And think how fun that could be for a twist on a sci-fi? I mean, sure it's probably been done, but there are all sorts of ways you could take that.

  2. I think we may find the evidence of former life, civilizations perhaps, or even just microbes. I'm not convinced there are humanoids out there, unless our worlds were seeded by the same ancestors. It's highly likely the life will take a form we've never encountered and may not recognize.

  3. I think that there are other planets similar to Earth that can sustain life.

I read the link. Eerie stuff.
