This is wild. Blows your mind. It's like my brother in Texas getting a foot of snow. Who knew? Mother Nature has had a mental breakdown, I think. But the photo is spectacular.
Catherine - Ha! No, my camera is missing. That's a stock photo not taken here. Our skies are lead gray and it's near white-out conditions still. Maybe tomorrow the river will look like that, but not yet!
Stephanie - If my car weren't buried I'd come visit.
Carolina - 2 of the 3 years we were in Texas it snowed. Since we arrived in Alabama it's snowed every year. The locals swear this *never* happens. >.<
Okay... now I need to go find my camera so I can take photos for everyone :o)

- If it weren't for the fact that I just read a newsclip about every single state in continental US receiving some snow this year, I'd say you and your family would be getting nervous suspicious looks. Snow-bringer! :)
Yes, do take pictures and post. *looks demanding* I want to see what snow in Alabama looks like. :)
- re/earlier comment, I just realized something when I was driving home from work. The lakes are not gray and dull. You actually can't see them for the snow. They look like a snowy field that sprung up where there used to be shiny waters.
Liana, that looks beautiful. Here we have inches of snow, but the skies and lakes are gray and dull. The usual February dulls, actually.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in my corner of Utah. So strange. Guess you got it all. Stay warm and dry!
