When the girls are at home in Tresity in the Troius Cluster Beka doubles as a model/photographer named Bee Sweet. She sets cameras around her shoot site so that they take photos every 2 seconds, then sorts the images for the few she likes. Beka complains, frequently, that it's a tedious job. She also accompanies Kit when she's playing lyracist Lizzy Marlowe.

When Kit is wearing her captain's bars Beka goes along as her gunner. In the field Beka tends to be sarcastic, sharp-tongued, and elitist. She knows she's at the top of her game and isn't about to let anyone forget it. She can be very competitive.
