Six Sentence Sunday - In the Morgue

Genre: Sci-fi/ SFR

Background: Samantha "Sam" Rose is an agent for the United North American Territories Bureau of Investigation in the year 2069. She's one big case away from promotion, and moving to DC to tie the knot with her long-distance fiance. To close her dead end Jane Doe case she must venture down to the morgue for the coroner's signature.

If you want more, there's a JANE DOE file on the blog.

For more great reading check out SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY.

“Come on Miss Mary Mac, I have a triple homicide waiting for me.” Creepy thoughts of what a loner might get up to in an empty morgue entered her head. “Please don’t be fondling a corpse.” She slid her ID through the reader and pushed the last door open.

A tall, gangly creature in blue scrubs covered up to in blood, hovered over a corpse caught in the act of exploding.

Sam gagged.
