Stalking Agents, and Other Things You Shouldn't Say in Elevators

Meredith Barnes is an agent-in-training over at Fine Print Lit with the estimable Janet Reid. What does this mean? It means authors are watching her like a astronomer watches a star about to go nova. She isn't taking clients (yet!) but we expect that to change within the next few years.

FinePrint Literary Management has been unable to rid themselves of Meredith since her arrival in January 2010. Parties have reached a gentlemanly agreement wherein it is specified, among other things, that Meredith sit as far away from the front door as possible. As it would happen, this is part of Janet Reid's agreement as well.

To help her get her blog up an running Mer is running a nice little contest. Personally, a crit of my first five pages would be outstanding! I think they're weak and I'd love some input. Go check it out, and see if you aren't interested in joining the fun.
