How hot do you like it?
Sweet? Spicy? Mild? Wild? What heat level turns your hard-earned cash into a nice hot book?
Probably no surprise here considering I write erotic romance, but I like a sexy book. Having said that, I don't need full-out steaminess in everything I read. I read a lot of YA, so sexy may mean a really tense almost kiss scene. It just depends on what fits the story and characters.
ReplyDeleteWith regards to romance, I like it hot. Steamy. Spicy. Which is what you'll find in my own books too. Not for everyone, but that's my preference.
ReplyDeleteNaturally I read in other genres as well, and I don't normally expect spicy scene in, say, the latest Rollins novel. ;-)
I tend to like to keep things at PG-13. That's probably why I go more for YA stuff.
