A Gift for My Friends Up North
Knowing that many of my friends are now encountering their first taste of bitter northern winter I thought I'd share a scene from my garden Saturday afternoon.
It's a breezy 76 degrees outside, the sun if shining, the flowers are blooming, and the garden is abuzz with butterflies and hummingbirds.
Enjoy!

*watches video several more times and tries to remember the last time I saw butterflies*
ReplyDeleteI think they are all dead. Like I would be feeling like if I run out in the cold rain to get birdseed for the captives as I'm supposed to.
The hummingbirds very definitely went winging their way south 2 weeks ago.
Great job on the website<:
It's lovely here in NC too. We're just starting to get the most delicious little nip in the air in the evenings. I love this time of year. Beautiful butterflies. Michelle will love them.
ReplyDeleteIt's non-stop raining here even though I live south of you. So thank you from the south!
ReplyDeleteThat was LOVELY! I'm really not liking the fact that winter is coming. I think I might run away and move in with Lois. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I LOVE the butterflies. *SIGH AGAIN*
