They aren't even in the same ballpark let alone the same game. All that matters is that you're trying and today is a little better than yesterday. Some days, not quitting is the only thing that makes today better. :)Liana Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14587774916354749190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329782430566577328.post-50703370960246620432013-04-05T08:22:58.075-04:002013-04-05T08:22:58.075-04:00Taking care of yourself is tons more important tha...Taking care of yourself is tons more important than pushing yourself beyond your limits and suffering a setback.

When I'm teaching someone or trying to cheer them up and they're depressed because they aren't doing as good as someone else, I point out to them that they are doing good for the stage they are at. Then I remind them that they didn't start off running but had to learn to crawl and then walk. Putting it into that perspective seems to work.

As for the people who are smug about where they are and not sympathetic towards someone coming behind them, I remind them that they also started off not being able to do things. This results in either an apology or the person leaving us alone.

But, yeah, as you say every person is different and has to learn at their own pace and with their own challenge levels. It's harder when you have a medical condition complicating things.

Take care of yourself.Ilnara Heskenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18299242041768818364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329782430566577328.post-20817485317654290752013-04-04T23:21:12.918-04:002013-04-04T23:21:12.918-04:00*hugs* I saw some of your FB posts.
