I couldn't think of anything better, which is why the idea got used for spare parts. I might try an epic fantasy someday, but not until I can think of something that hasn't been done to death. I've seen well done fantasy and I'm not sure I could top that.

*shrugs*

In time I'll find a place for Sari. The personality, if not the name, is bubbling up in a much darker fantasy piece. The MC there is currently called Erina but that may change.... :o)Liana Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14587774916354749190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329782430566577328.post-32294642251857208962008-09-08T11:07:00.000-04:002008-09-08T11:07:00.000-04:00I know you will! And yes, great that you are taking what you can and using it!PJ Hooverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02602205868934777662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329782430566577328.post-48080089647852252122008-09-08T10:50:00.000-04:002008-09-08T10:50:00.000-04:00I want to read the first one - frankly it sounds r...I want to read the first one - frankly it sounds right up my alley!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329782430566577328.post-58265300778273319452008-09-08T09:42:00.000-04:002008-09-08T09:42:00.000-04:00I had tons of characters and plots that are practi...I had tons of characters and plots that are practice stories now. One thing I find hard about the writing process is to write a novel, be excited about it, edit it, and then realize that it isn't marketable. Unfortunately, I think this is the case with many first novels. And second and third novels in some cases, lol. (At least my case, anyway).

But that said, there are many bits, characters, settings and plot lines from these first novels that can be mined and used in the future. I never regret anything I've written, because all of it teaches me something, and I can use it moving forward, either the lesson or the ideas.Angela Ackermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01808259088625142389noreply@blogger.com
